Situated in one of Argyll's most spectacular destinations on Loch Linnhe, just 10 miles north of Oban by sea (20 miles by road), The Pierhouse is perfectly placed for visiting yachts and boat. Whether you are arriving under power or sail, take a break from exploring this beautiful stretch of water and call in at The Pierhouse.
Make use of our moorings and come ashore to dine in our award winning seafood restaurant - our a la carte lunch and dinner menu is served daily. Booking is recommended - call +44 (0) 1631 730 302 to reserve a table. Breakfasts, teas/coffees and home baking are available from 8am. We also serve delicious bar meals at lunch and dinner and washing facilities are available.
Facilities
Visiting sailors (and hotel residents) can make use of a self-contained facility inside the hotel. Facilities include:
- Traditional Finnish sauna, shower, WC, luxurious Arran Aromatics products & towels: £10 per person per hour
- Washing and drying machines: £10 per wash and dry cycle

Moorings
From April to October, we have 7 visitor moorings available for the use of hotel guests and visitors arriving by sea. Moorings are charged at £10/night, or are free of charge to boat crews who dine in our Restaurant.

Our moorings offer 3 inner and 4 outer lines at 3 metres and 5 metres depth respectively at low water. A concrete ferry jetty used as a working pier is co-located alongside and is available for private boat use, providing shelter for landing on the northern side.
The moorings are also available for short term/longer term hire. Rates are £10 per night, £50 per week, £150 per month and £500 for the summer season.
