Grand Platter (for two)
A true celebration of our freshest local seafood from the West Coast. Lobster from a Pierhouse creel, chilled local loch Linnhe langoustine, seared west coast scallops, Loch Creran oysters & fresh rope grown mussels from Loch Leven, Inverawe smoked hot and cold smoked salmon, salad and garlic mayonnaise.
Local lobster (approx 550 g) from one of our Pierhouse creels, served in a choice of three ways: chilled with lemon aioli, grilled with garlic and parsley butter or Pierhouse thermidor.
Local langoustines in their shells, warm with garlic herb butter & griddled lemon or chilled with lemon aioli & griddled lemon.
West Coast Scallops
Steamed in shell with sesame, seaweed & ginger dashi, sealed with a pastry crust.
Outstanding seafood from local waters: Loch Linnhe chilled langoustines, west coast scallops, Loch Creran oysters, Loch Leven rope grown mussels with garlic, white wine, cream & smoked salmon, Inverawe hot and cold smoked salmon served with garlic mayonnaise.
Fresh Meat from the Grill
11oz Highland Sirloin steak cooked bone in, served with Pierhouse seaweed salted chips and veal bone jus.
Rope grown mussels from local waters, steamed in garlic, white wine, cream and Inverawe smoked salmon. Served with fresh bread & butter.
Isle of Gigha Halibut
Brown butter fried caper, seaweed kombu & squat lobster.
For those of our visitors who do not eat animal products, we commend The Pierhouse Vegan menu (PDF), which is prepared with the same enthusiasm for fresh, local produce that informs our fish and meat dishes. And yes, meat and fish eaters can order from this menu too!
