The Walking Lads

In 2009, three retired friends began the first of many stages in their exploration of the Scottish coastline. Fast forward 1384 miles to March 2013 and the ‘walking lads’ 2013 season started in Oban with a couple of nights R&R at The Pierhouse in Port Appin.

Kenny, Norman and Stewart based themselves at The Pierhouse for a couple of nights while walking their Oban to Onich sections. You can follow their journey on their own blog where they explain “The banter, laughs and "wee swallies" along the ways and in the pubs of an evening have been immense and will certainly continue as we eat up the magnificent Scottish coastline and appreciate the homeland that we so dearly love.” Wonderful sentiments indeed - we wish them well for the remainder of their journey this season.

“Once again, many thanks to you (Caroline) and the rest of the hotel staff for making our stay so hospitable. We had great fun.”  Kenny.
