Dear guests and friends of The Pierhouse Hotel
It is with great sadness that we have made the decision to close temporarily the doors of The Pierhouse Hotel from today, Saturday 21st March 2020, due to the anxieties and uncertainties triggered by Covid-19.
This decision comes with a heavy heart. However, the well being of our fantastic staff, loyal customers and valued suppliers has to take priority. We feel, as the Government is advising hospitality businesses to close, to avoid crowds and to stay at home, that morally this is the right thing to do. We remain vigilant on assessing the best route forward for our team during this temporary closure and we are already brimming with ideas for when we re-open.
I would like to say an enormous thank you to all our guests who have shown such loyalty and support over the years.
I am writing this on a beautiful morning in Port Appin overlooking Lismore and beyond and so look forward to the time when we can again share this with you all.
In the meantime I want to thank you again and wish everyone well and most importantly good health.
We will continue to be in touch.
Warmest regards from me, Fiona and all team at The Pierhouse.
Gordon Campbell Gray
