New Year & Hogmanay 3 night Dinner, Bed & Breakfast package - Sunday 30 December 2012- Wednesday 2 January 2013.

We are offering our guests a 3 night Dinner Bed & Breakfast Hogmanay Break and the wonderful opportunity to see in the New Year in one of the most stunning locations in Scotland with a fun-filled programme of activity.

Hogmanay at The Pierhouse Hotel is a unique experience and the chance to celebrate New Year in one of the most beautiful destinations. Whether you enjoy bright days of hard winter sunshine and incredibly deep blue skies, invigorating blustery walks along the shore, or magical snowfall on the high peaks of Ben Nevis and Glencoe, this is a breathtaking landscape and one of the most exciting times of the year.

Guests will arrive for our 3 night Dinner Bed & Breakfast Break on Sunday 30th December 2012 and depart on Wednesday 2nd January 2013.  

Programme of Events

Sunday 30 December 2012

We look forward to welcoming you on your arrival from 3pm, after which time you might wish to relax in front of one of the fires either in the bar, or in the Residents’ 'Snug'. For those needing to stretch your legs after the journey, make the most of the remaining daylight with a short gentle stroll along the shore and experience the stunning winter beauty of our location, right on the shores of Loch Linnhe.

At 6pm until 6.30pm there will be an opportunity for you to meet your fellow Pierhouse Hogmanay Guests at an informal pre-dinner drinks party hosted by Nick & Nikki in the Lismore Dining Room. Champagne and mulled wine will be served.

Dinner will be served in our Restaurant in the evening from our A La Carte Menu.

Monday 31 December 2012

Have the day to explore our spectacular location - we can recommend walks of varying degrees of difficulty from flat sea level walks to more challenging Munros. Alternatively you could opt for a fun cycle ride in the local neighbourhood or on the lovely nearby island of Lismore. Otherwise just relax in the hotel with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and home baking served in the bar and Residents Snug, and watch the waves crashing on the beach.

The evening celebrations will start at 7pm for everyone with a local piper piping guests in for Champagne & Canapes and our Special 5 Course candlelit Hogmanay Dinner in the Restaurant.

We will be hosting a traditional West Coast ceilidh dance in the bar from about 10pm with a local band playing traditional music until midnight.  For those less familiar with Scottish dancing there will be a caller offering advice to help guests through some of the more intricate dances!   

'Auld lang syne' will then be sung at midnight followed by the traditional Pierhouse firework display off the end of our pier to conclude the evening's entertainment.

Enjoy an especially leisurely New Years Day breakfast from 9am to 11am with perhaps one or two of our special rescue remedies and then decide how you would like to spend the rest of the morning before lunch back at the hotel from 12.30pm.

For those looking for a good way to 'clear the head' from the night before, The Pierhouse has six mountain bikes for your exclusive use if you feel up to it! Otherwise take advantage of our spectacular location to explore a little more of the local neighbourhood on foot, climb another Munro or just relax in the hotel.

New Year's Day dinner will be served in the Restaurant as usual from our A la Carte Menu.  What better way to conclude your New Years celebrations.

Breakfast until 10am and check-out by 11am for those heading home. Otherwise why not take advantage of the special rates for a 4th night starting at £100 per room B&B and spend Monday & Tuesday relaxing on the west coast ...................make the most of this great opportunity.

3 night Breaks are detailed below. Prices are inclusive of Dinner, Bed & Breakfast Break

Superior Sea Loch View Rooms : £165 pp/pn*
Kingsize Sea Loch View Rooms : £150 pp/pn*
Double / Twin Rear Rooms : £140 pp/pn*

*All prices are per person, per night. The price includes an allocation of £30.00 per person for dinner for the nights of 29, 30 December 2011 and 1, 2 January 2012 from our A La Carte menu with a complimentary cafetiere of coffee and £50.00 per person for our special 5 Course Hogmanay Dinner on 31 December 2011.

*Children - Dinner, Bed & Breakfast for children (aged 2-12 years) is priced at £50 per each night of your stay, and children will need to eat from the Children's A La Carte menu.

Terms and Conditions

1. This offer is subject to availability.
2. This offer is a Dinner, Bed & Breakfast Break only and is subject to guests dining in The Pierhouse restaurant for each of night of their stay respectively.
3. A special 5 course Hogmanay dinner menu will be offered with this Break for the night of 31 December. For Dinner on the nights of 30 December and 1 January there will be an allocation of £30.00 per guest from the A La Carte menu. No credits or refunds will be given if meals to this value are not taken. Anything over this amount will be charged separately. Lunch is not included in this offer.
4. Offers are non-refundable / non-transferable and you will be asked to pay in full when making your reservation.
5. Individual room preferences cannot be guaranteed.
6. This offer is not available for single occupancy stays.
