Come & join us for a fantastic Hogmanay Night of celebrations, & a special Hogmanay Dinner in the restaurant followed by a live Celidh Dance and Fireworks, weather permitting

Champagne on arrival

Choice of Starters

Lobster & langoustine bisque
with brandy creme fraiche


Homemade mixed game terrine
with wild guinea fowl, local venison, rabbit, hare & dates marinated in malt whisky

Baked short crust tartlet of mixed local cheese & sunblushed tomatoes with fresh parsley oil


 

Delicious champagne iced sorbet

Choice of Main Courses

Corn -fed  chicken breast  lightly marinated in cider, 
filled with fresh mascarpone cheese, a squeeze of lemon and fresh herbs, served on a herb and olive oil mash with marsala and wild mushroom jus


Venison Wellington
A loin of wild vension wrapped in crepes, mushroom pate and lightly finished in a crisp puff pastry.  Served with pickled walnut and date cream

All main courses are served wtih minted new potatoes & a selection of local seasonal vegetables

Fillet of local Salmon

Ovenbaked & served with minted potatoes, fresh seasonal vegetables & dill creme fraiche

Vegetarian Option

A light risotto
served wtih a rich chestnut puree, and local wild mushrooms

Choice of Desserts

A light vanilla roulade
soaked in whisky with Scottish strawberries, fresh cream & mint

                    Traditional iced Cranachan parfait with toasted oatmeal, Drambuie, fresh raspberries, cream & orange zest

Devillishly rich dark chocolate and rum brownie with a warm chocolate & hazelnut sauce
