Situated in one of Argyll's most spectacular destinations on Loch Linnhe, just 10 miles north of Oban by sea (20 miles by road), The Pierhouse is perfectly placed for yachtsmen. Whether you are arriving under power or sail, whilst exploring this beautiful stretch of water, we recommend that you break your journey and stop at The Pierhouse for a truly memorable place to eat and stay. A La Carte lunch and dinner served daily, and delicious bar menus. Tea, coffee and home baking served from 8am.
And why not treat yourself and come ashore to stay in comfort overnight, and explore the local area with our recommended activities? You might also want to treat tired muscles with our excellent range of relaxation, therapeutic, aromatherapy or sports massage treatments in the comfort of your hotel room. Moorings:
We have 10 visitor moorings available for the use of our patrons, or for visitors arriving by sea. Moorings are charged at £10 / night with the option to rent weekly, monthly or for the summer season. Our 10 moorings offer 5 inner, and 5 outer lines at 3 metres and 5 metres depth respectively at low water. A concrete ferry jetty used as a working pier is co-located alongside and is available for private boat use, providing shelter for landing on the northern side. All moorings are available from April to October for daily use or short term/ longer term hire. Please check availability of moorings before your arrival on Tel: +44 (0) 1631 730 302 / 730 622. Moorings are charged at £10 per night, £50 per week, £200 per month and £500 for the summer season (May - October 2008).
Sauna, showers & washing facilities:
The Pierhouse has a select range of marine facilities for use by visiting yacht crews and hotel residents. We offer the use of a self-contained marine facility located inside the hotel, which may be booked by our residents or guests for the day. 2 levels of service are offered for hire:
~ Traditional Finnish sauna, shower, WC, luxurious Arran Aromatics products & towels: £10 pp per half hour
~ Washing and drying machines: £5 pp per wash and dry cycle
