  • "I am so glad I found The Pierhouse ... little did we know what delightful treats our tastebuds had in store! I can say hands down they had the best mussels in Scotland! I am still comparing them to all others and none have come up trumps to these! Divine! The room was very tasteful with a beautiful bathroom. And the loch views are just to die for. I wouldn't hesitate to go back. If you get the chance you must go here! You won't regret it!"

  • "On the spur of the moment we saw an advert in the newspaper for this hotel and booked. It was a great decision. We knew the remote location already but not the hotel. We were shown to what we were told was a recently refurbished room. It was and very tastefully done as well that would have equalled some 4 and 5 star hotels we have visited. The seafood restaurant has an excellent location looking out to the Western Isles with food to match. It has an award for 2011 as Scotland's Most Romantic Hotel. Well deserved".

  • "What a wonderful hotel. Food very good mostly locally sourced. Unfortunately due to the poor weather no lobsters! Rooms have the most fantastic view across the loch to Lismore, a lovely quiet island. Rooms very cosy and warm. Staff could not have done more to make you feel at home, nothing was too much trouble. Must go back!".
